Nathan Christopher believes laughter is one of life's greatest gifts

(ranked somewhere below unconditional love and a notch above cold pizza). As a former child and aspiring adult, he knows firsthand what makes people of all ages laugh. Bad news: that’s not his day job, where he’s an MBA-wielding leader of engineering teams. But when the meetings (finally) adjourn, he happily trades spreadsheets for stanzas.

As an engineering tinkerer with a penchant for innovation, Nathan has spearheaded an online clothing business and developed independent iPhone apps that garnered nearly a million downloads. This technical ingenuity extends into the kidlit world, where Nathan is the creator of resources used by thousands of his fellow creators, including the ‘PB Workshop’ online community and the ‘PB Author Tools’ Google Docs extension.

Nathan writes in the attic of his century-old home in Windsor, Canada, sharing life's ups and downs with his wife and ever-active children—who ensure endless material and a conveniently sleepless schedule for writing.
